Inclusion & Diversity Champions Program

Challenge

Cultivating an inclusive culture, and mobilizing inclusion and diversity throughout the organization in such a way that it is embedded into the fabric of the organization.

Actions

In response to 2020’s social unrest, members of our senior leadership participated in listening sessions where employees were invited to share their experiences and ideas on how to continue the cultivation of an inclusive culture. These conversations encouraged the US Inclusion and Diversity Action Committee to launch the I&D Champions Program, which includes team members at every level within each of our business groups. The concept of a champion is to seek opportunities for team members to get involved in the I&D conversation while also being empowered to drive solutions. Champion leaders are provided resources and training to lead tactical committees in promoting belonging in and out of the workplace.

Outcomes

Implementation of the Inclusion & Diversity Champions Program. Business line curated panels and on-going discussions focused on inclusion and diversity initiatives. The continued promotion of I&D programs and trainings across the organization to ensure we are matching our actions to our words.
