BetterWork Media Group strives to be the leading voice for companies that care about their people - and we want this to be reflected in our own company culture, as well. As a woman-and minority-owned business, BMG is dedicated to maintaining a diverse, equitable and inclusive workforce where all feel safe, welcomed, and valued. We want all team members to feel that their employment with BMG is mutually beneficial and enjoyable, and that they will find satisfaction and take pride in their work here. And we have worked hard to make many of our policies and benefits, outlined in our Employee Handbook, reflect our dedication in this area.

Actions

Some of the policies that we have implemented for BMG employees include:

  • We offer unlimited PTO.
  • We formally observe Juneteenth and Indigenous Peoples' Day as paid holidays for all employees, in recognition of the histories and contributions of Black and Indigenous people in America.
  • To encourage and empower all employees to take time to bond with their new child, BMG grants a parental leave of absence for a period of up to six weeks for all new parents.
  • We encourage all employees to identify and pursue professional development opportunities to further their career journey or learn a new skill in an area that interests them.
  • We offer the option to telecommute occasionally or regularly (beyond COVID-19).
