Creating Collaborative Committees to Drive Inclusiveness

Challenge

Improving diversity requires a culture of inclusivity. Nabors is approaching diversity efforts from multiple perspectives, which includes the creation of diversity and inclusion (D&I) committees representing a diverse group. Through these individual committees and their interaction with the corporate global steering team, we are generating new ideas and efforts to ensure a multipronged approach to enhancing a welcoming environment.

Actions

A D&I corporate global steering team guides and supports individual committees by gathering ongoing data, surveys and facilitates meetings to produce fresh and compelling initiatives. Generated ideas will be acted upon based on success metrics, feasibility and need in specific geographical areas. A developed systematic process will ensure each event is followed through with debrief sessions to identify areas of continuous improvement.

Outcomes

Diversity and inclusion committees will create events that take place throughout the year with the overall intent of engaging a broader audience. By valuing and leveraging our heritage, background, culture and experiences, we will continue to enhance the diversity of our workforce.
