COVID-19 impact to our associates and our business.
Zelis leadership and associates swiftly formed a COVID-19 taskforce that was representative of each functional area of the organization. We ensured all associates were provided the equipment and tools needed to work from home. Corporate-wide townhalls were conducted bi-weekly to keep associates up to date. This included hearing from our Chief Medical Officer, learning about plans to return, tips and guidance for living and working in the new “Normal” while adhering to the CDC guidelines. Local site support was available, and continues to be available, to address specific needs from a geographic perspective.

With guiding principles in place, and always putting our associates’ safety first, we saw our associate morale and productivity increase. Associates who returned to the office felt safe with the protocols that were in place. Engagement between associates and their managers have improved, even in a virtual environment. Client satisfaction remained and we were able to provide them more concierge service. This was an opportunity to show the true resilience of our associates and brought us closer together as an organization.
