Challenge

We wanted to make sure that our company’s values including inclusivity and psychological safety - were reflected in our everyday conversations. And, we wanted to find a way to support our own employees journey around DEI, workplace culture and well being and not just provide them “lip service.”

Actions

We leveraged our technology capability of speech/conversation analytics to create a platform to analyze our virtual meetings with A.I. and provide our employees personalized and anonymized guidance and insights. We wanted to help them understand areas like their own well-being, unconscious bias, active listening, clarity and confidence, and inclusive language. We are currently creating a version of the platform that anybody can use during Teams or Zoom meetings. We have a passion for employee well being, DEI being a cornerstone of this, and we want to “pay it back” by making the solution available for any employee and organization that are looking to live a true DEI experience.

Outcomes

We are all far more mindful of the way that the language we use and the way we speak plays a big part in the overall inclusiveness of our organization, and we are able to take informed steps to improve our culture.
