In 2020 we introduced Iterable’s balance day. The whole company gets the first Friday of every month off. That’s an additional 12 vacation days in addition to our company holidays and PTO. What stands out to employees is that with balance day they don’t have to worry about taking time off, because everyone at Iterable is taking the same day off  there are no emails coming, there are no slacks that need to be answered. We also encouraged employees to share photos of their balanced activities to showcase what balance can look like. Balance Day is here to stay - it will always be part of our benefits offering.

We introduced balance day in June and we get feedback from employees how much they appreciate having this additional day off every month. Especially this year where people are pulled in different directions and are under a lot of stress, having an additional PTO day is meaningful to our employees.
