Unconscious Bias Training Pilot Program

Challenge

Identify unconscious bias training program to meet associate needs across organization and pilot training for all people leaders beginning in 2019. 

Actions

In partnership with Leadership Development, the Diversity and Inclusion team sourced potential vendors to launch and facilitate Unconscious Bias training for people leaders across the organization. Throughout the summer of 2019, the working group selected an external vendor to meet the needs of our population, built out a pilot training plan to kick off in the fall and began developing a broad based plan to roll out Unconscious Bias training to all people leaders in 2020.

Outcomes

Our Board of Directors receives an update on a quarterly basis around our holistic D&I efforts, including visibility to our diverse talent landscape, role models and successors.
