Unconscious Bias Training

Challenge

We realized there was a gap in our training program, with no training tools dedicated to educating our employees on how to recognize biases, and the impact they have on our organization.

Actions

Implement Unconscious Bias training program for all Atlas employees.

A mandatory training module has been implemented for the entire Atlas staff as well as added to our onboarding training process. The program content addresses unconscious biases, stereotypes and microaggressions as well as how to mitigate those in day-to-day practices. Our primary objective for the training is to educate our employees on involuntary prejudgments and connotations that can hinder our efforts for an inclusive culture.
