Support Our Associates, Clients and Communities Through the COVID-19 Pandemic

Challenge

The Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic presented significant challenges in both the professional and personal lives of our associates. Our primary responsibility during this pandemic has been to take care of our associates, who in turn, seamlessly serve our clients, our industry, and the communities in which we live and work.

Actions

People who know Jack Henry know that the talent and dedication of our associates has always been the centerpiece of our company’s success. As such, we know how important it is to take care of our people – all the time, but especially in times of crisis. At the start of the pandemic we formed a multifunctional COVID-19 Task Force to strategize and execute on solutions to help ensure the safety and well-being of our associates.

Outcomes
  • Through selfless dedication and collaboration involving multiple teams, we were able to successfully transition 96% of our workforce to a remote environment within just four days.
  • For the select teams and individuals (designated as essential) who continue to work onsite at Jack Henry facilities, cleaning procedures have been enhanced, social distancing encouraged, and face mask usage required.
  • Specific to the pandemic, we made meaningful improvements to our benefits program. One significant change was to ensure all out-of-pocket expenses (including co-pays and deductibles) associated with COVID-19 were waived for any associate or dependent covered under one of Jack Henry’s medical plans.
  • A comprehensive corporate-led communications strategy was developed to keep associates and clients updated on a regular basis and provide them with best practices, training, and other information to make our “new normal” smoother.
