Renewing PPL’s CEO Action Pledge

Demonstrate leadership’s commitment and accountability for diversity, equity, and inclusion. Create alignment of all leaders with the CEO Action pledge.
Actions
Our new President and CEO Vince Sorgi was dedicated to renewing PPL’s CEO Action pledge, which was originally signed by PPL’s former CEO. But, Sorgi also wanted to demonstrate that PPL’s leadership team was aligned with the pledge and ready to meet the challenge for renewed commitment of efforts. Accordingly, Sorgi requested each of his direct reports to also sign an internal duplicate version of the pledge.
Outcomes
The support of the CEO Action pledge by the CEO and all his direct reports was communicated to the workforce.
