Removing Barriers & Bias in Hiring


We recognize that a diverse representation in the workforce is essential as it leads to innovation and an increase in business performance.

To remove barriers in our hiring practices, increase diverse candidates into our talent pipeline and to remain competitive within our industry;


We have implemented two key actions in our efforts to reduce barriers and bias in hiring:

  1. Our Talent Acquisition team partnered with other organizations to learn best practices for Open Hiring. Open Hiring practices were implemented to offer opportunities to those that have had challenges obtaining work due to criminal history, limited education and other factors.
  2. Resumes are provided to hiring managers with masked or redacted names and any other identifiable characteristics.

These actions will help us to achieve a more diverse talent pipeline and thus will increase our overall diverse representation throughout our workforce.
