Our leaders are advocates for supporting greater diversity, inclusion, and equity at Ascensus, and they stand behind the organization’s holistic approach to driving progress. This approach includes attracting diverse talent, supporting the career advancement and retention of diverse talent, and cultivating an inclusive workplace where every associate can advance as their best self.
D&I themes and discussions are weaved into regular associate communications, leadership routines, roundtables with associates across the firm, and in industry events.
Additionally, for the past eight years, our leaders have contributed to the growth and expansion of the organizations’ nine employee resource groups (ERGs). Several leaders serve as executive sponsors of the ERGs and are advocates for advancing associate engagement around diversity and inclusion.
There is no room for racism or prejudice in our world, and we condemn these divisive tools of hate, the acts they inspire, and the people who wield them as weapons. It is our obligation to listen with both greater empathy and curiosity, develop a deeper understanding of those different from ourselves, and support those in pain with a pledge that we will try harder to make a real difference. As a company, we will continue our efforts to make Ascensus a place where all feel welcomed and valued, and the different backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives that each of us bring are not only respected but make us stronger.
