We implemented a Paid Parental Leave program which provides employees with 100% of their regular pay for the first 8 weeks of their leave. We removed the “infertility barrier” from our medical insurance to empower all employees to plan their families in diverse ways. An Adoption & Surrogacy Assistance policy was introduced providing employees with up to $75,000 in lifetime benefits.
Employees who previously had no access to any type of wage replacement are now able to receive full pay for 8 weeks of their leave allowing parents the ability to recover, bond with their child and manage new responsibilities without financial stress. Same-sex couples and individuals choosing to delay parenthood now have access to comprehensive family planning benefits. These enhancements have fostered a more inclusive and equitable culture by narrowing gender gaps, embracing diverse family structures, and alleviating financial barriers.
Our advancements with our overall DEI initiatives are further along because of the leadership [our VIVID Group Leaders] have provided. The openness, comfort level, education, and inspiring setting each of the leaders provided has allowed us to create a safe, productive and engaging start to our groups.
