Inclusive Benefit Offerings

Challenge

Enhance existing benefits package to further strengthen an equitable, competitive, and supportive workplace. Recognizing that employees vary in age, gender, race, family structure, sexual orientation, and more, the goal was to ensure all employees continue to feel valued and supported.

Actions

Our medical insurance was enhanced to further support gender-affirming care, including coverage for hormone therapy, surgeries and mental health support. We introduced an Earned Wage Access program offering more timely access to earned income. We launched monthly live trainings to help employees maximize their benefits resulting in increased awareness of our Tuition Assistance Program empowering more employees to pursue further education and professional development. Building on our existing offerings, we’ve enhanced our mental health benefits to ensure more inclusive, accessible, and holistic support for all employees. Employees can now access a wide range of mental health support resources including complimentary therapy sessions and app-based support available anytime.

Outcomes

Enhancing our medical plans with gender-affirming care improves employee wellbeing, fosters inclusivity, supports diversity recruitment and retention, and promotes equity across the workforce. Participation in our Tuition Assistance Program has increased helping reduce socioeconomic barriers while driving engagement, retention, and internal mobility. Our Earned Wage Access Program helps employees manage unexpected expenses and cash flow challenges, leading to reduced financial stress, higher productivity, and improved overall morale. Providing a robust suite of mental health support resources, including free therapy sessions, enhances employee wellbeing, boosts engagement, eliminates access barriers and helps break the stigma surrounding mental health.
