Vontier was established October 19th 2020, separating from Fortive Corporation. From Day One, Inclusion Diversity and Equity has been written right into our values – Stronger together. Working as one diverse team, acting with agility, integrity, inclusion, and trust. We are being very deliberate and focused about the environment and culture we want to create for everyone.
Employee Resource Groups
We are taking a hybrid approach to ERG’s. At the Vontier level we have created 8 ERG’s where the Executive Sponsors, ERG Chairs and Steering Committee have been appointed to lead and drive our ERG’s. Our 5 Operating Companies can elect to form local ERG’s which will become chapters of the Corporate Vontier ERG, aligning to their mission, however they will have local goals, to allow for local relevance. We have created a playbook and guides to ensure that all our ERG’s are set up for success. This includes how we measure their impact.
In addition, we have created an ERG Leadership Forum, that meets monthly, consisting of the ERG Chairs, to create collaboration across ERG’s; sharing best practices; supporting each other; co-sponsorship of events and initiatives.
Inclusion Education and Training:
The diverse leadership team and board we have created. The feedback from employees on the courageous conversations we held has been overwhelmingly positive. More results to come based on our annual employee engagement survey.
