Ensuring pay equity.
As part of our semi-annual performance review process we provided training to managers educating them on unconscious biases. We introduced a bias monitor into the process, as well as calibration sessions with the senior executive team to ensure an equitable process. As part of the calibration, we look at metrics that show salary increases and promotions by gender, racial group, etc. Based on the data, the HR team went back to managers to discuss potential biases or pay inequities.
