Formed Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Council and Appointed Chief Diversity Officer

In 2020, the Atlas leadership team had long, hard conversations about being consistent with the core values that we practice daily, and the need for us to commit to making Atlas a welcoming and safe place for all employees. Our leadership pledged to acknowledge the historic and ongoing inequities in this country, listen intently, accept our part of the responsibility and be willing to move forward to make Atlas and this world a better place.  This robust dialogue led to the formation of the Atlas Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) Council and the appointment of Jamie Myers to Chief Diversity Officer. In this role, Mrs. Myers leads the Atlas DE&I Council and Program, and ensures alignment with the Company’s vision and business objectives.

The Council focuses on strategies and program development with a primary goal of taking measurable actions to advance diversity, equity and inclusion at Atlas. Members of the Council range in age, race and gender and comprise a mix of functional and geographical representation within Atlas. The Council’s work is streamlined into three targeted programs: Employee Resources, Talent & Training, and Community Outreach.
