Ensuring that our DEIA efforts are ongoing and responsive to our organization and the world in which we operate.
Campbell & Company established our DEIA Council as a permanent body in 2019. More than a temporary task force or ad hoc committee, this group of team members from across the firm are responsible for creating, guiding the implementation of, and holding the firm accountable to its strategic DEIA goals. As of summer 2024, we are finalizing our DEIA 2.0 Change Framework, which builds upon lessons learned from our first framework and continues to integrate this work more deeply into every aspect of our operations and client work.
With our 2.0 Framework, we have created six focus areas, or branches, each of which include clear and measurable goals, tactics, and measurements. We are creating a dashboard that will allow each member of our firm to see our progress transparently and in real time.
We are increasingly conscious of our team's potential to advance diversity, equity, inclusion, and access in our firm and through our partnerships with nonprofit organizations. The philanthropic systems that provide resources necessary to the nonprofit sector’s work are often defined and led by those with the most privilege, and yet many of the most effective and durable strategies and solutions are informed by community values and voices. We take seriously our responsibility to build a sector that includes and amplifies people and communities who have historically been marginalized and under-resourced.
