Ensuring We Stay Connected with Our Employees


As all of us navigate the situation posed by COVID-19, Protective remains committed to supporting our employees' wellbeing and serving our customers. To remain connected with our employees when many are working from home, we launched two pulse surveys to check-in with employees during this unprecedented time. Protective is proud to report the majority of our employees expressed confidence in our senior leaders’ ability to make the right decisions for Protective during this time and they feel supported by their managers.

As we begin to plan our future state and develop our return to office approach, we launched an Employee Readiness Assessment to gather employee perspective’s and make informed decisions around returning to our offices. Understanding employee readiness is an essential component of our Return to Office planning efforts and the information shared will help us develop thoughtful plans that address both employee needs and advance business priorities.

Though we work through uncertainties, we remain committed to keeping employees informed. In this ever changing environment, we have substantially increased our communications to share important information and helpful resources. The communications include wellness tips, mental health resources and reminders about the benefits, programs and perks Protective is proud to offer to its employees. Communications channels include a Daily Update for Employees, a weekly message from CEO Rich Bielen, weekly Leadership Briefing meetings and monthly Virtual Town Halls.
