Challenge

Increase the number of Women in our executive staff and Board of Directors.

Actions

Enphase management recognized that promoting diversity in our leadership team was of utmost importance and began to implement changes focused on attracting more talented and qualified women into the company. We made the following changes to our hiring process:

  • Rewriting our job descriptions in postings to appeal to women
  • Requiring that qualified female candidates must be interviewed for all executive-level and Board
  • Ensuring at least one female interviewer was always included in the interview
Outcomes

Hired a female board member and a female Chief Marketing Officer.
