Eastridge Affinity Groups

In response to the repeated displays of racial injustice in 2020, Eastridge formed affinity groups to ensure ongoing employee engagement and authentic dialogue in a safe, supportive space.

Our organization created and supports five committees who meet on a monthly basis. Members are encouraged to read, watch or listen to preselected materials that serve as the starting point for discussion, sharing and thought for each meeting.

C4 (Creating Conversations and Committing to Change): An employee resource group formed to explore all meaningful options to help impact change that is needed for the Black community. The group meets regularly to coordinate vital conversations, guide leadership on education initiatives, ensure community outreach and hold leadership accountable to ensuring we deliver our best to achieving a diverse and inclusive workforce.

LGBTQ+: The LGBTQ+ employee resource group provides a forum to support our colleagues, encourages open and forward-thinking when it comes to questions or issues specific to the LGBTQ+ community, and fosters a sense of unity between members and allies through a variety of professional, academic and social activities.

We meet monthly and engage in activities to foster respect, support, and networking opportunities to deepen the company’s connection to the LGBTQ+ community.

WOW (Women of Wonder): The mission of Women of Wonder (WOW) employee resource group is to cultivate an inclusive environment that supports and encourages women to advance their skills and leadership potential through connection, mentorship, collaboration, and discussion. Through open and engaging dialogue, guest speakers and educational materials, the group allows for both learning and sharing best practices as well as building relationships.

LatinXellence: The LatinXellence resource group is a forum for discussion related to issues that affect the community in the United States and throughout Latin America, where many of our team members reside. These conversations foster deeper relationships and mutual understanding between cross-border team members, inspire empowerment for our team members both at work and in their communities, and provide leadership valuable insight on how to better serve an international workforce with distinct customs and needs.
