We recognized the need to have a wholistic approach to training and to offer a variety of diversity topics for all employees to learn from. We launched a series of dedicated trainings to address Diversity & Inclusion as well as Unconscious Bias, that all employees were required to take.
Training on Diversity & Inclusion and Unconscious Bias are now required annually for all employees. For employees who don’t typically work on computers daily and where English is not their primary language, we offer this training in a socially-distanced classroom settings and conduct the training in both English and Spanish.
Employees have a greater awareness and better understanding of what Diversity & Inclusion means to the organization and understands and recognize our own internal biases. By knowing your microaggressions and your biases, you can work on them.
