Veteran’s Day is often thought of a day of remembrance for those who bravely sacrificed their life to serve our country. This year at DI, we wanted our employees to learn more about the sacrifices and struggles veterans endure to fulfill their duty to our country.

In addition to our annual CEO message reminding our employees of the importance of the day and celebrating our seven employees who served in various armed services, he also interviewed an employee who just this past May returned from combat duty in Afghanistan and who shared what Veteran’s Day means to him. A second interview featured the CEO of the Veteran’s Community Project who provide tiny homes for homeless veteran’s as they work to transition back into society.

Created additional awareness of our fortune to have veterans serving in various capacity within our country which can further inspire our intention to recruit, hire and retain more talented veterans.
