Designing an Inclusive Benefit Program at Jamf

Challenge:

Designing and supporting a responsive employee benefits program is a complex challenge for people-focused global organizations like Jamf. Over the past several years, this challenge has intensified through major world health and social justice crises, changing regulatory environments, evolving employee needs and expectations, and the emergence of new market trends and benefit models.

Actions:

In order to face these challenges, Jamf has taken action to build our "Whole Employee Experience" providing for the financial, physical, and emotional well-being of our teams. Using a purposeful partnership approach, we have actively strengthened our relationships with local benefits experts in the geographies and regions where we operate. We have also formalized internal feedback processes to ensure that the voice of our employees is heard and has direct impact and input into the benefits offerings that Jamf invests in. Since 2020, we have made targeted enhancements to Jamfs benefits plans to support employees and their families at work and at home. We continue to invest in mental health resources and support structures to ensure mental and behavioral health is a priority and readily available to our employees around the world through our 100% company paid Employee Assistance Program. In addition, we have expanded our mental health support with providers made available to all Jamfs, as well as their spouses, domestic partners, and dependents. We continue to take concrete steps to enhance our family planning offerings with an improved parental leave policy for birth and non-birth parents, as well as additional benefits for LGBTQ+ families. With our choice-based office model, employees have the flexibility to work from home or in the office, living a wellbalanced life to work how they work best. Jamf also offers paid volunteer time off for all employees to support the causes that matter most to them.

Outcomes:

As a result of our dedication to the "Whole Employee Experience", Jamf continues to experience high levels of engagement and retention, even in a volatile world labor market. Our voluntary retention rate is 90%, our employee engagement is 82%, and 90% of our Jamf employees say that Jamf is a great place to work.

Inclusion is not only about diversity, but also about creating an environment where everyone feels valued, respected, and empowered. Inclusive benefits play a vital role in fostering a sense of belonging, embracing diverse needs, and supporting the well-being of employees across the globe. At Jamf, we prioritize inclusive benefits which help us truly harness the power of diversity and create a culture where every Jamf employee can thrive, contribute their unique perspectives, and drive collective success.
