ASHP seeks to improve inclusion in the workplace.
The committee is charged with taking inventory of ASHP’s internal efforts in the areas of diversity, equity, and inclusion, with a focus around the following goals:
The committee began its work in late July, 2020 and will conclude by January 2021. While we know our efforts won’t end in January on this topic, part of the committee’s work will be how we carry the work ahead after January.
The committee is half-way through its work and focusing on forming recommendations to implement to the organization including:

ASHP is extremely committed to making the needed improvements to ensure that our members see themselves in ASHP and that ASHP is an organization where everyone feels included. We look forward to continuing to implement changes to ensure our profession and employees feel included and represented in all we do.
