Raise community awareness about the Inclusion and Diversity (I&D) work happening at Ameritas.

Ameritas hosted area business leaders in October 2022 for the Lincoln Circle monthly meeting. The Lincoln Circle is a community of leaders who are involved in designing, organizing, supporting, and leading organizational inclusion and diversity efforts in the Lincoln area, where Ameritas is headquartered.

During the meeting, we shared our I&D framework, describing the work of the Inclusion and Diversity Council (IDLC), the I&D Work Group (IDWG), and Associate Resource Groups (ARGs). Members of each group were recognized, as were our ARG executive sponsors. With more than 40 in attendance, we had discussions and small break out groups focused on the topic “Dealing with Resistance and Getting Executive Buy-In,” where attendees shared thoughts and experiences around resistance and potential solutions.
