In January 2020, Control Risks launched our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Committee, an employee-led group aimed to support, formalize and carry out the company’s DEI priorities. The Committee is made up of a diverse pool of employees with backgrounds, practice areas, locations and experience. The Committee has been key in boosting DEI initiatives on a global, country, and local level. The Committee strives to create awareness on DEI practices and decrease unconscious bias in the workplace. The Committee also coordinates initiatives with two global affinity groups, Mosaic (which represents the interests of the LGBTQ community), and the Women’s Network.
Initiated and brought together a diverse group of employee leaders to format a work plan around DEI, and spearhead DEI efforts on behalf of Control Risks in the Americas.
