On Nov 18, 2021, Ameritas sponsored a live public webinar, partnering with the American College of Financial Services on the topic of “Creating a More Fulfilling Life for All: Financially Empowering Our Diverse World.” American College President and CEO, George Nichols III was joined by Ameritas Executive Vice President, Individual, Ryan Beasley for this event. All financial professionals were invited to take part in this important industry conversation.

Beasley and Nichols discussed a range of topics relevant to financial professionals and their practices and allowed time to conclude the webinar with participant questions. This timely event gave participants the opportunity to hear candid perspectives on trends related to diversity and inclusion, including actionable takeaways for better serving an increasingly diverse culture. The webinar introduced innovative, yet simple ways financial professionals can create more diversity and inclusion in financial services and our society by supporting greater financial education within their communities, recruiting and training more advisors who reflect that diversity, and helping build financial well-being strategies. It also offered a look at the groundbreaking work being done by American College to encourage and enable greater financial empowerment and equality for more Americans.
