L3 Leadership Excellence Model
Previous leadership competency model was outdated and did not align to the business strategy, leadership expectations and the desired culture
Worked with a leading consultant to conduct senior management interviews, focus groups and an interactive card-sort exercise to understand key competencies expected and required for leaders to be successful at L3. The leadership expectations were then finalized and communicated to the top 250 leaders across the company at L3’s annual Strategy Meeting.
Designed a new L3 Leadership Excellence Model that includes 12 competencies and associated behaviors that embed inclusive leadership traits. The new model aligns to the business strategy, sets expectations and will be integrated into L3’s Performance Management, Learning & Development, Succession Planning, Selection and Coaching programs and systems. Additionally, the new model retains L3’s values and commitment to integrity, excellence, respect and accountability.
