All employees are invited and encouraged to explore the different focus areas of the ERGs and join one or more of the eight enterprise-wide groups.
At L3Harris, ERGs are high-energy, voluntary, employee-led groups, formally recognized by L3Harris – with a common structure including an executive sponsor and employee chairperson – that have a goal of bringing together employees with common interests while also providing ongoing professional development, networking and community outreach opportunities. ERGs also have an opportunity to provide feedback to senior leadership via the L3Harris Diversity Council where ERG leadership meets with our CEO twice-a-year to exchange ideas and learn more about L3Harris strategy and priorities.
L3Harris ERGs focus on the following groups:
L3Harris currently has 8 enterprise-wide ERGs, that host a mix of monthly events that include development and engagement activities and community outreach. Active members comprise ~8% of our workforce. ERG Enterprise Chairs and Executive Sponsors meet twice a year with the CEO to provide ongoing feedback and report on progress on their strategic plans.
